Compadres does not only need donations. It also needs people willing to build trust, visibility, and real impact alongside communities in Peru.
We look for people who are steady, thoughtful, and responsible. You do not need to travel or have previous NGO experience. You do need real commitment and the willingness to contribute with humility.
The project comes from a simple idea: many people want to help, but they do not always know how to begin. This page exists to turn that intention into concrete participation.
Digital volunteering: social media, design, translation, web development, fundraising research, writing, or content editing.
Strategic support: fundraising, partnerships, storytelling, campaign organization, or connecting Compadres with potential donors and companies.
On-the-ground support: if you are in Peru or planning to be near the areas where Compadres works, we can explore logistical support and coordinated community visits.
Consistency matters more than intensity. It is better to contribute two hours per week over several months than to help intensely for a few days and then disappear.
We also value people who know how to listen. At Compadres the community is not a backdrop: it is the one that sets priorities and guides the help.

2. We coordinate a short conversation to understand your profile and where you could contribute best.
3. If there is a good fit, we begin with one concrete task and a clear scope.
